Belleville Public Schools offers FREE, full-day PreK for Belleville (NJ) residents. The Belleville Beginners PreK providers programs to both 3-year-old and 4-year-old students. All PreK classes operate on a full day 6-hour schedule (9:15am-3:15pm), in accordance with the school calendar. PreK classes are located at select school locations throughout the Township of Belleville. 

A student’s age is determined by how old he or she is on October 1st of that school year. All students who are 3-years-old on or before October 1st of the school year are registered as 3-year-old students. All students who are 4-years-old on or before October 1st of the school year are registered as a 4-year-old class.

All students MUST reside in Belleville, NJ to maintain enrollment in our program. Any student who is enrolled as a 3-year-old, will automatically roll-over to a 4-year-old student the following year, dependent upon residency.
