
Dr. Aida Cardona
Assistant Principal of Middle School
Dr. Cardona is an Assistant Principal at Belleville Middle School, and the Coordinator for the National Defense Cadet Corps (NDCC) / Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) at Belleville High School.
As a 2020 graduate from Saint Elizabeth University, Dr. Cardona published her dissertation on the topic of social emotional learning and best practices for middle school students. With her wide range of experience serving students at every level of education, Dr. Cardona has had the privilege of working as a principal at the elementary level to teaching at the US Naval Academy.
Dr. Cardona is a US Army veteran, and has served at a number of duty stations across the world, including with the 2nd Infantry Division in Camp Stanley, Korea, where she received the honor of soldier of the year during her tour.
Nonetheless, by far, Dr. Cardona’s biggest accomplishment is raising her three incredible children.
When Dr. Cardona is not busy with her students, she is a garden enthusiast, loves to be adventurous...and play with her dog, Socrates.
