Mr. Ryan Kline

Director of Special Services

Ryan Kline has served as the Director of Special Services for the Belleville Public Schools for the past decade. Before becoming the Director, he was the Supervisor of Special Services and a member of the child study team as a school psychologist. Mr. Kline began his career in the Philadelphia and Newark Public School systems, where he was employed as a school psychologist and behavioral consultant. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Montclair State University in the Educational Leadership Department.

Mr. Kline has been fortunate to be a part of a team that involves research driven practices while applying humanistic approaches. These approaches have assisted in the development of district wide initiatives that have seen students receive appropriate and sound instructional and adaptive services in the least restrictive environment. His educational philosophy continues to revolve around the understanding that all students can exhibit progress and it is the responsibility of educators to find ways to ensure that this occurs. 

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from York College of Pennsylvania, Mr. Kline completed his Master of Education and training and fieldwork in School Psychology at Temple University. Additionally he has graduate level coursework training in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University as well as training from Harvard Graduate School of Education. 

In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his two daughters and wife.
