
Ms. Jennifer Vernieri
Principal of School # 3
Ms. Jennifer Vernieri is honored to assume the role as Principal of School No. 3 in the Belleville School District. She previously held the position of Director of Planning, Research and Evaluation/District Test Coordinator. Prior to working in Belleville, Ms. Vernieri served as the Supervisor of Elementary Education in Madison, New Jersey. Ms. Vernieri has an appreciation for best practices in education, along with the hard work and preparation that is necessary to provide an effective educational program for teachers and students.
Ms. Vernieri has been in education for 27 years and has earned her New Jersey certifications as a principal, supervisor, reading specialist, and elementary school teacher. She is also Orton Gillingham trained. Ms. Vernieri began her career as a teacher in Wyckoff, New Jersey, where she taught a variety of grade levels, including many years as a reading specialist. During her time spent in the Wyckoff School District, she was an instrumental force in designing professional development and academic support programs.
Ms. Vernieri is a graduate of William Paterson University (WPU), where she majored in Elementary Education and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree. She then went on to receive her Masters of Education from WPU and a certification of Educational Leadership at the College of St. Elizabeth.
