Mr. Chris Balz

Assistant Principal of High School

Mr. Balz is honored to be a part of the Belleville Public Schools family and serve as your Assistant Principal. He is committed to fostering an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

With a passion for education that spans over a decade, Mr. Balz brings a diverse background to his role. His journey began as a dedicated Special Education History teacher, where he spent six rewarding years supporting students with diverse learning needs. This invaluable experience instilled in him the belief that every individual has unique talents and deserves equal opportunities to succeed.

Transitioning into the role of Dean of Students for a year, he gained a deeper understanding of the holistic needs of our school community. Mr. Balz worked tirelessly to cultivate a positive and inclusive school culture, where respect, responsibility, and resilience are celebrated virtues.

Beyond his administrative responsibilities, he is deeply involved in the extracurricular fabric of our school. As a coach for football, basketball, and golf, he has had the privilege of mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field. These experiences have taught him the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance—values that extend far beyond the realm of sports and into the fabric of our students' lives.

As an Assistant Principal, he is committed to collaborating with our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and engaged students to create a nurturing learning environment where every individual feels empowered to reach their full potential. Together, let us continue to inspire excellence, ignite passion, and shape the leaders of tomorrow.

He looks forward to partnering with you on this incredible journey of learning and growth.
